I never liked the term resolution,
The natural implication of the noun
obscures the intention of the verb
though I wish my thoughts alone could conquer
all my inertia and regret.
I realize that your absence is my absence
Redefined by insecurities and concerns
The resolution is to be present
relentless in the pursuit of existence
and rebuilding the connections from myself.
